I am a mom to a 17 year old and I know that there are times that he doesn't want to talk to us so it could be a teenager thing. However I think you should really try and have open conversations with your parents about how you are feeling especially since you have been diagnosed with GAD.
You need to know that you can overcome anxiety but it takes alot of hardwork and support. Are you currently seeing a therapist? If not you may want to talk to your parents about seeing one. If you get to the bottom of what is causing your anxiety now you can possibly overcome it and not have to deal with it as an adult.
Try keeping a journal because that is so helpful when you have anxiety. Also make sure you are eating right and getting enough sleep and exercise.
I really hope you start feeling better soon. Lots of luck to you....
Well thats the thing ive already been diagnosed with general anxiety
you really need to talk to your doctor about the way you feel. it could be early anxiety. but you want to be sure.
