I make myself cringe

So I'm currently in high school, and it *****. I mean, my school itself isn't that bad, and it can actually be pretty fun. The problem is however, me. I'm incredibly awkward in most of my classes, and can hardly even speak to my peers.
Percussion (band) is definitely my favorite class that I take. And the students in said class happen to be some of my favorite people personality wise. I HAVE SO MUCH IN COMMON WITH THEM! I have a really strong feeling that I'd get along just great with everyone if I could simply TALK TO THEM! My voice even goes up an entire octave in that class, and my throat is always conveniently parched during it as well. So when my crush walks up to me to ask me something (oh yeah i forgot to mention that my crush is also in my band class), and I attempt to answer, my vocal cords just spit out a mousy, scratchy noise that makes me die a little more every, single, time that I hear it.
I mean, I guess that I get along fine enough, I do have an actual friend, and that's mainly due to the fact that we've known each other since we were both kids, and she also happens to be about as socially inept as I am. What kills me the most about ME, is that when my anxiety will allow it, I can be a real crowd pleaser, and talk to everyone under-the-sun without a single problem.
Now that I think about it, my social anxiety problems might stem from the fact that I moved from another state to AZ not too long ago, and had to start school like a month late. I was actually a pretty social kid in middle school, but I think that puberty must've hit me at about 8th grade, and boy did it hit me hard. Yeah, that's definitely when things began going south w/my depression.

Anyways, thanks for reading that (if you did read that, then papa bless dude, like seriously that was boring as s**t)
Uhh..if you have any tips on managing social anxiety then please, do feel free to let me in on your life-saving techniques.

Buh-bye :)

Are you sure you're suffering from anxiety and/or depression?  Sounds like you're just going through an adjustment that most people go through in junior high or high school.  Is there more?
