This is just a shot in the dark, since I know nothing about the medication, but many medications seem to affect muscle function. One possible remedy to try is supplementing with magnesium citrate, perhaps in a 1:1 ratio with calcium citrate. Solaray makes a good one. Magnesium is essential in relaxing muscles and nerves, and it's become my opinion from taking meds for anxiety and reading lots of posts that many meds seem to interfere with magnesium absorption. This is particularly bad given that most Americans have an excess of calcium and a lack of magnesium, and the two need to be proper balance. So it's worth a try. You might also try a homeopathic remedy called hypericum, basically homeopathic St. John's Wort, that helps with nerve function. Again, a shot in the dark, but something you can try given that the doctors can't seem to find what's wrong. Nutrition and how meds affect it isn't their strong point.
Yes I know all about invega now but I didnt know that at the time that I took it. I havent taken it since. I wanted to know what its done to me bc I havent felt healthy since it almost killed me. I wouldnt advise anyone take this drug ever. In my opinion the risks arent worth the reward. I was given it for bipolar and had I known anything about it then I wouldnt have taken it. It realy irritates me as well that I was given this for bipolar since it is realy made for sktzo. I could and should have been given something with much less risk.
invega is time released so you cannot cut it in half or chew it. the actual tablet will make it through your digestive system in tact but all the meds will slowly seep out into your system.
i am on invega. i am slowly going off it. but not soon enough. i am so sensitive to heat now, and i get the twitches and spasms and my whole body falls asleep but i can still feel pain, het and cold etc. but i can't move. It's so serious that i am seeing a nuerologist and have convinced myself i have MS.
