Klonopin after 8 days

Due to some anxiety due to some trauma, my doctor told me to resume Klonopin for a short time to get me through some trauma. I took  1mg daily of Klonopin for only 8 days in the am, and then stopped. My doctor said that since I was taking it a short time, i should not have trouble. Previously, i took Klonopin for 3 years- same dose and had to titrate off slowly about 1 year ago.  Love to hear what the doc says. I know it is a short period of time for taking this drug but i don;t want to be in trouble.

I took xanax for over two months last year and wound up having to wean off because I had withdraw symptoms coming off fast.  It was fine weaning slowly.  This year I am having health problems again and have been taking it again.  I took it four days in a row and the doctor told me not to take it that way (every day)  So again I just stopped and didn't seem to have any withdraw symptome.  It was only 4 days in a row so I can only tell you what happened to me.  Good luck hope you get the answers you need.
