yes i have felt this it is annoying,but is also related to anxiety and i find the more you think about it the worse it becomes.You say in your post that guilt,Why?
Hi Ricki, sorry you are having anxiety. Its a horrible feeling. The feeling of a lump or something caught in your throat is definitely a symptom of anxiety. I have had this myself many times while suffering anxiety and it always makes me more afraid and worry that something is wrong but then, in a few days or weeks (depending on the severity of the anxiety), it goes away. A few things that have helped me are sipping a warm drink such as broth or tea, gargling with warm salt water or keeping a piece of hard candy, mint or cough drop in your mouth.
