Lupus be the cause of anxiety?

Can the immune system disease called "Lupus" be the cause to anxity? I googled all my symptoms today and the first thing that popped up was Lupus. I have really bad anxiety, heart palpilations, nausea, loss of appetite, and scaly skin on top of my arms for 3 years that hasnt gone away, Supposbly all of this can be from an immune system disease. Any one heard of that?

I know someone with lupus and joint and muscle pain and extreme fatique are her most common complaints. Googling symptoms is never a good idea. I've allowed the internet to diagnose me with several diseases...that I didn't end up having. Its winter time and a lot of people have problems with dry scaly skin. The rest of the symptoms sound like anxiety. You should go to your doc and tell them your symptoms and let them test you for physical causes and if none can be found hook up with a therapist.

Don't play the google the illness game.  If you really think you have lupus, get tested, but if you google illnesses, many of them fit partially whatever we're experiencing.  To me, if all these are connected it's more likely thyroid than lupus, since you don't mention muscle weakness, but again, if you're really concerned, see a doctor.
