Muscle Aches and Weakness

I know i have posted on here before about this, but it won't go away. I have muscle weakness and very achy muscles esp. in the morning my feet and hands are very achy, it lasts off  and on all day but in the morning its worse. I feel that my muscles get tired very easily. Its mostly in my hands, feet and knees. I am EXTREMELY pararnoid of the whole MS/ALS thing. I have had a brain MRI and been to a nuerologist a few years ago (before this symptom started) for other weird muscle feelings. They found nothing wrong with me. I just started to take Effexor XR 2 weeks ago and these symptoms are not getting any better. Does anyone else out there have the same thing? I was going back through some of the posts and it seems like I am the only one.  HELP please!

I too get this but just in my left arm for some strange reason. It too comes and goes. My hand feels numb and my elbow  joint aches, although I can move it and feels quite stiff. When I get this it makes me feel quite  sick but it will go as quick as it came. I think that because I worry about it when it happens I feel my heart race and seem to panic. I went for an ECG this week as I felt like I was having a heart attack.
Results normal. I seem to get something wrong with me about this time every year, then the rest of the year I am fine.

thanks... i always wake up with it but then it comes and goes. Thats when i get really paranoid about it. I hope that every night when i go to bed that it will be gone in the morning and the first thing i think about when i get up is that. Its always in the back of my head. I am just glad i am not alone.  thanks for the reply.

I've been feeling some aches and pains and weakness and trembling recently too -  if I wake up with it, it usually hangs around all day, though it sometimes gets better by evening. But if I don't wake up with it, it usually stays away all day. So, yesterday I had it - today I don't! Mine's usually on the right side too, which is a bit scary, but I'm trying to be good and not panic about it. I mentioned it to my doctor and told him as much, and he just asked if I had any paralysis, and when I said no he told me not to worry. I'm just going to keep an eye on it...
