My weird stomach --Is it anxiety?

I was diagnosed with Non-Hodkins Lymphoma in July 2015 and had chemo until Dec 2015. I am now in clinical remission since Dec 2015 but I am constantly worried that it might return. The dotcors said that it can return; I am 68/ female. Lately, since September 2016, my last meeting with my oncology team, I was told that I wouldn't need a scan but if I felt un well, or felt something was not right, I would need to come in and they would then arrange another PET/ CT scan. I was told to self monitor. I had a full blood count done end of November,  which came back FINE and no problems...but now I constantly worry as my tummy seem to be feeling odd and gurgling and the odd twitch under right lower ribs.. The odd twinge and noises makes me scared..If I press on tummy it feels fine..but it is  a bizarre feeling and it is driving me even more nervous..Can it be anxiety related???..I always seem to think about my cancer and how it might come back.......

This sounds like gas.  It could be diet related.  It could also be a side effect coming to fruition from the chemo -- it has a very deleterious effect on your immune system, including the probiotics that help with digestion.  One thing you might try is buying a good multi-spectrum probiotic from the refrigerated section of the best health food store in your area and make sure it contains bifido-bacteria, very important in digestion.  Make sure you're chewing your food thoroughly.  And when does it occur -- when you lie down after eating?  After eating certain things?  See if you can make some connections, as again, it sounds more of a digestive problem though that's just a guess on the internet.

You are over-analyzing your body out of fear which is natural considering what you have gone through. However, the doctors are the experts, not you so all your monitoring has no useful diagnostic purpose and has a negative effect by keeping your fear level high.
Anxiety and the self diagnosing attempts work in a vicious circle fueling each other every time you get a fright.

The solution to your anxiety is to relax and accept that you are powerless to diagnose, but if you can't do that, then I would see a therapist for some one on one discussions on techniques to deal with this.
