You do realize this post is years old, right?  And let's try not to tell others that because we love drugs others will love them too -- you're addicted to the stuff and it's best that others don't think these drugs are little magic pills or playthings.  Yes, some of us need them, but let's not oversell them.  Be safe with others as you would want them to be with you.
Not saying, by the way, that this isn't the right move and best move for you.  Just saying the way drugs affect people is very individual and they are quite dangerous, so we need to not say things that might entice someone who doesn't need medication to take it.  Again, not saying it hasn't been great for you and the best thing for you.  Just wanted to make that clear.  But do check how old the posts are -- this one is five years old, hopefully the person posting is past this problem by now.

Cris101, I tried to read your posts, but in all honesty, it is nearly impossible.  You need to resubmit your posts with the use of punctuation, like periods and question marks, and paragraph breaks.

I WILL say that the little bit I COULD make out is awfully angry and bitter.  We advocate for all sorts of treatments on this forum, including benzodiazepines, but we also have become good at recognizing troubling statements, and there were a few in this OP's post.  He/she said they "know they can get them" and they want to just go to a doc who "already gives them out".  Benzos are a great medication, a great tool, when used properly and cautiously.  BUT, they are also extremely habit forming, and we have a responsibility to be honest with people seeking advice, including when we see things that we may be concerned about.  This OP needs to seek help for ANXIETY, which may or may not include medication therapy, but she should not JUST seek out Xanax.  She is limiting herself treatment wise, and quite frankly, just appears to be drug seeking.

Also, this site has rules, dear.  We are certainly not allowed to list doctors who Rx Xanax "easily", which is what the OP is essentially asking.  Just like we cannot list websites that sell controlled substances online without a prescription.

Perhaps you should look around and read some of our other posts.  You are making an awful lot of (incorrect) assumptions, that we're somehoe judging this girl, that could not be farther from the truth.  We're trying to HELP her.

Lastly, you state you blame doctors for not telling people enough about meds.  I think they could do a better job in that dept, but the ultimate responsibility ALWAYS lies with the patient.  YOU have the responsibility of educating yourself, about ANY medical decision, medication, procedures, etc.  If you have questions, you ask.  Not wait for a doctor to give you all the info you seek.  Your thinking is backwards.

Again, we'll be glad to comment on the rest of your posts, but as they are now, they are just about impossible to read. If you can copy/paste them into this thread with punctuation and paragraphs, that would be great!

as to what I previously said another point is there are so many more dangers and yet America is so stuck on drugs freedom isn't defenitly free when every person out there tells what u can and can't do what and whatnot to take ur body ur life so if pumping harmful chemicals and fumes in our kids air is ok teaching them to dress l in short shorts at age 8 and  get pregnant at 15 drinking which causes hundreds of deaths just in car accidents alone not including body dangers& smoking why is taking a legal pill doctors prescribe seem to be what's more important to tell ppl not to do I agree those who shouldn't take them shouldn't take them but to shame those who are addicted to something they already need anyways is a bad sign of where ppl in life are heading i can only hope those who end up In a car accident or some kind of illness that end up needing these same drugs in a hospital and see how hard it is to just stop cant get them and bc it's not just in ppls heads they need these meds it's s medical fact there brains become re wired and there body's are depended on them like food and water addiction needs to be explained to ppl not every one is a crack head or drug dealer on the street elderly ppl babies and in between are all addicted these drugs in one shape or form bc of a reason yes it's true there are plenty of ppl who take them for the heck of it and joy and they suffer from it when they become dependent and then they have an illness it's not just cut and dry most ppl try to make it and recovery is a  road of long curvy hills  that tale years to follow and most never make it so to point blame just at the patients isn't fair there should be videos shown at school of withdrawl and tell them how bad it is and how long it takes and I'm not talking about send one old drug addict that got clean and talk to the whole school in a gym it's need to be a class to class thing to show and get more personal so they no that it's less likely you will die of overdose but more likey of years of suffering and pain it's becoming harder to get these drugs in sum ways it's good but I can garrentee no matter what restrictions ppl will sum how manage to get drugs and sell them so restrictions isn't the answer alls that does is make it harder for those who need it and more easy for drug dealersto make money if ppl cant trust a doctor to help they turn to places not recommended and as I said before not every one is ignorant well that's right now when it's still sum what easy to go to a doctors but imagine when u can't any more what ppl will do and those who need them will suffer for it

It's sad to assume all ppl are in such desperate situations that ppl will search in a dangerous place for it not every person is ignorant and plenty of ppl take these medications the right way and end up addicted that don't mean they will start selling every thing or doing what ever to achieve what they was on or close to taking and it's the drs faults for not warning patients before hand the dangers and then restrict them after getting them hooked there pay check will become some one elses struggle to get by feeling normal after years of taking such medication I feel awful for ppl who are in such situations bc of the ppl out there that do go just for the high iv been in 1 serious almost fatal car accidents when I was 17 by a drunk driver and I don't hear ppl saying I can't tell you a good bar for fear you might drive home drunk so how is it any different recommending a good doctor and who is to say it's meaning a doctor that's going to write any thing just for bad addicts maybe a good doctor that listens and helps with the right meds to just assume every person is asking bc there dope heads which you are assuming by the way u answered the question is a wrong way of changing or helping any one in the world doctors who are willing to write these prescriptions shouldn't restrict those in need they should investigate better those who are wanting them or getting them like making sure they haven't been to a dozen doc offices in different states or have a history in jail or prison of drug busts and not a one time offender I'm talking more serious etc.. I seen both sides of these situations  around a lot of ppl and learned by judgment it's more to it then what tv just shows and says

Why don't you go through something like ask a nurse or the list of psychiatrists that participate in your insurance and go from there.  If you are on the up and up, the psychiatrist will help you. Good Luck to you.  WendyJones

Hello and welcome.  Unfortunately, we're not really able to recommend certain doctors,  especially for the purpose of obtaining a certain drug.  My advice to you is to call your local area and make an appointment with a doctor.

Also, you seem quite set on "needing" Xanax.  While it may have worked for you before, you have to go in to see a new doc with an open mind, and be willing to try his/her recommendations, which may or may not include Xanax.  How long have you been off the Xanax?  I'm assuming you are not pregnant anymore?  It goes without saying that if you are, Xanax would be contraindicated during pregnancy, and you would need to tell your OB immediately that you are taking Xanax.

My final concern is your comment stating "I know I can get them".  PLEASE be very cautious obtaining meds via illegal or shady methods.  Meds you can order online often don't even include the medication you are ordering, they can contain dangerous chemicals and other drugs used to mimic the effects of the drug ordered.  This can be a fatal mistake.

Buying these meds off the street is also a horrible idea, for many obvious reasons,  For one, you can find yourself in a WORLD of trouble, and danger.  Two, if you lose your "source" (which will happen), you will be stuck without a safe way to come off the Xanax, which could be life threatening, depending on how much you would be taking.

Please handle this the right way, and find a doctor who has YOUR best interests at heart, not just some guy/girl willing to be free with their prescription pad.  Therapy is also very important, I urge you to seek that out.

Hang in there, let us know how you're doing.
