New symptoms of Anxiety?

Today I was taking a shower and a state of extreme exhaustion came over me, as if I was going to fall asleep right where I was standing. Simultaneously my heart rate jumped up to 170bpm and my legs began to feel extremely weak and cramped as if I had climbed up 100 stairs. My arms then became very weak and I felt like I couldn't even finish washing my hair and my hands were shaking. I am now laying in bed feeling like I haven't slept in days when I really just woke up from a 12 hour sleep only 2 hours ago.

Are these symptoms normal or should I got to the doctor?

Ive had all kinds of blood work done and this is definitely not my first attack, but it was the first one like that. It was really weird, I thought I was blacking out for a minute. Im going to the doctor tomorrow just to get checked out because I feel sick today. I have been getting a barrage of new symptoms lately for no apparent reason. They are all so ridiculously physical though that it has become crippling. Im on 90mg of cymbalta and take xanax when an attack occurs (even though I am very afraid to take it). Hopefully things will turn around because the past week or so has been very very rough.

You don't say if you have an anxiety disorder, so I can't say with even minimal certainty that what you experienced was anxiety related. Certaily some of the symptoms are those of anxiety, but if this was your first "attack," I would urge you to see your doctor to rule out any organic problems.
It could have been a low blood sugar crash, but that is just a GUESS and only your doctor can diagnose you.
I hope you see him soon so you can get an answer.
(A little tip...........he is going to want to do some bloodwork and a couple of the tests will require a 12-14 hour fast beforehand. So that you can have the tests done the same day, make an early morning appointment and go ahead and fast the night before...........no food after midnight! That will save you having to come back and you'll get your results quicker.
Let us know what the find out, OK?

I've felt all those symptoms during a panic attack, especially the shaky hands and feeling extremely weak. I've noticed though that I sometimes get very different symptoms during panic attacks, something new and usually horrible always seems to pop up whenever I have one. It's probably worth talking to your doctor about, especially if they are new symptoms for you, but I think it may very well be just the anxiety.
