Dreams can seem like they take place during long periods of sleep. Fact is it can only take five minutes to have a full dream. We do toss and turn as the night goes on. That is coming out of the deep sleep phase and slipping back into it. But we can also dream just as we are about to wake. Lucid dreams. Or just as we are about to fall asleep. They are the dreams that seems so real. Because we are not fully asleep. We tend to remember those types of dreams most of all. Your problem is not something to worry over. Do a poll and I bet so many others won't be able to remember their dreams. It is common to forget them.
Yeah see normally I remember dreams so I guess during those times I'm waking up during REM sleep?
Not remembering your dreams is a great thing. It means your not waking up during a REM session. It means that you are getting some good sleep. I have the craziest dreams and always remember them. Also if you take meds for depression and anxiety, it can affect your alertness and you might not remember your dreams.
Trust me you dream. Everybody does every night. Most dreams are forgotten in the first five seconds on wakening up. Not sure what medication you are on. But it could be stopping you remembering your dreams. Maybe it puts you into a deep sleep and you wake feeling groggy or something. Your mind just isn't with it. But you are still dreaming. Make no mistakes about that.
