ONE WEEK OF ANXIETY

I have been having morning anxiety for one week now.  Something happened strange this morning.  I was sound asleep and I woke myself up with a snore like sound.  I immediately went into a panic attack----racing heart, weak feelings, anxiety, and sick at my stomach.  Is this normal.

hi boogie, thats happened to me quite a few times actually.  the sudden waking put my adrenaline in overdrive and all the classic symptons you mention were there except the sick at my stomach part. usually my initial reaction of "oh my god i stopped breathing" caused me to have a short panic attack but once i fully woke up and got cobwebs out, so to speak, i was able to calm down and realize that i was in fact still breathing.  i think it was mostly that startlement knocking me out my sleep that really caused all the other panic-related feelings to happen. it happens every once in a while so i guess for me there is some normalcy to it
