Well I made an appt. for my yearly exam. I haven't been in much pain these last couple of days. I had my massage therapist work on my chest.
Hello, I also wanted to say that I have random breast pains as well at times. I find it to be worse before my "time of the month" starts and therefore a little after. I did at one random physical ask my doctor why this happens every so often at a random and she said like everyone else keeps saying it was a little "mastalgia" and it is true due to the fact we are women we are bound to experience different episodes due to our hormones. I would say if it does get unbearable please let a doctor know. God Bless.
Thank you both for the info. I do not do self exams every month but I do them every so often (not enough) I have never had a mammogram, I'm 31 so I don't believe they would do one yet. It feels like it might be a muscle in the chest or back. I was in so much pain last night until early this morning and then it just went away. It's back again tonight. IDK if it could be this cold weather we are getting here in Colorado. I have had this pain before but for some reason it's really bothering me.
I have had breast pains over my 61 years of owning the damn things. Some were related to my cycles, some to being pregnant and breasfeeding, some to perimenopause and some for no reason at all, apparently.
Do you do self-exams every month? Are you getting regular mammograms yet?
I can't tell you why you have breast pain. Only your doctor can do that, so naturally, my advice is to see him/her and get this checked out sooner than later.
I certainly don't want to scare you, but surely with all the awareness of breast cancer out there, you've heard that early detection is your best chance to survive IF that is what this turns out to be.
Be good to yourself and see your doctor now.
Peace
