Overdose on Klonopin

Hi Well i took a whole 0.5 mg klonopin this morning and a 1/2 one at noon and i am feeling faint dizzy week legs,i cant seen to hear right,im wondering if ikts because i ws used to taking 1/2 pilll every 4 hours and then i put a hole one in my system and took the half to soon and the pharmissit saID I i might be slighty overdosed so im freaking..i guess on klonopin u dont fool witht he times u take it,and now im scared to take a whole one agaain,my dr told me yesterdatbtake 1 whole 1 in the am and 1/2 at bedtime,,,i screwed up bad when i started cutting them in half...just how does klonopin work adn how soon should i feel not so drugged out

Klonopin is a widely used medication for anxiety, and it is dosed twice daily to be effective.  msanxiety does not take Klonopin for sleep.

MS....you know the answer to this already.  You did not overdose....you are having anxiety...and you need to see/follow up with your doctor.  It really is as simple as that.

klonopins are an anti-convulsant and used for aniexty i think there one of the milder benzo's, it won't kill you taking what your doc prescribed i take at least 10 mg through out the day, then i have to switch to a different benzo , so i think you have nothing to worry about, just eat before you take your meds, if in the end your still feeling dizzyness talk to your doc tell the truth always or there not going to solve your real problem ..i.e....dizzyness

when I got klonopin ( several years ago) it was supposed to be for sleep..only!! not during the daytime...!! & I didnt like it...it gave me nightmares...I had been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia....which is apparently something to do with a failure of the central nervous system.....& Ive never been a good sleeper...so the Dr gave me the Klonopin, & after about a month...I switched to Ambien....so far ...so good.....I probably am addicted to it..but who cares...the alternative is not sleeping or worrying about not sleeping..so a habit is the least of my worry..
double ck...I dont think klonopin is for use during the day!! I read one of its purposes is to control seizures!!! so double ck before using it again, o.k.?
