PLZ HELP XANAX AND PAXIL WITHDRAWS

Hey my name is nick. I have been taking 6mgs of xanax 2mg 3x a day, and 40mg paxil one a day for about 3 years.
Today I'm still waiting on walmart to fill them.

Today is day 3 and I'm sweating, having crazy thoughts, and I feel like I'm dying. I'm quite shaky.

Will this go away if they fill my scripts soon? I really don't know what is happening and I have a high fever.

Xanax today, and I haaad to take 7 to help the SERIOUS WITHDRAWS. I feel great now but they wearin off alredy, but this is the 1st time I took that many but tomarro should be on regular schedule.

Oh my, you're in a heck of a spot.  If I may ask, why did you run out early?  How early?  Are you taking more than prescribed?  If you are, why?  Because the Xanax wasn't as effective as it had been, or are you abusing it for a "high"?  If your answer to any of those questions was "yes", PLEASE discuss any issues you have with your doctor right away.  

Going cold turkey off any med is not adviseable, but with benzodiazepines, it's actually dangerous.  You could end up having seizures.  This really warrants a call to your doctor, an urgent one.

I know you are seeking some relief with the alcohol, but believe me, that is NOT the answer. If anything, you are possibly endangering yourself even more, not to mention to horribile rebound anxiety you are going to experience the days after a binge.

When will your Xanax be ready?  Hopefully you will heed my advice and call your doctor right away, but if my suspicion is correct, and you're just going to self medicate until you can get the Xanax, let me caution you.  

When your Rx is ready, do NOT be tempted to take MORE Xanax to relieve your w/d symptoms.  Take it exactly as prescribed.  It may take a few doses before you really start feeling better, but it really is the only safe way.  You'll naturally feel tempted to take more than usual to get some relief, but again, do NOT do this, it could be dangerous for you.  I also strongly advise you to make sure you are not drinking when you resume the Xanax either.

You may think I'm being a nervous Nelly, but trust me, I've seen some really bad things in these types of situations.  I really really REALLY urge you to call your doc ASAP and let him/her know what has been going on.  

Be careful, and please update us when you can!  I'm very worried for you!

I went through pacil withdrawels back in November. It was horriable for about a week an a half. Them u start 2 feel better. I would call my mother hundred times s day freaking out. All the research done by my mom they would say paxil withdrawels are equivalent to heroin withdrawals. I felt great after getting off the paxil. Then last month I started getting major anxiety again. I tried every drug the doctor gave me but nothing worked. I went back on the paxel. But only for a few weeks. It's easier to get off when you only use it for a few weeks. I am just going to try using klonpin or zanax as needed. You feel much better once it all gets out of your system. Just give it a bout a week or 2. Just stay strong you can do it even though it gets hard at times. Just stick with it. My mom told me you are okay you are not going to die. Just keep running that through your head. You will be fine!!! If I didn't anybody could do it.

It has gotten a lot worse today. I was waking up average every 3 hours do to nightmares. And I didn't. Know if that's a symptom but I'm having them severe. Also when I got up today I feel so bad. I called my doc and like everytime they say they havnt got my refill request yet like always but I guess I just gotta still wait.

For your responcde I'm quite drunk and feeling very little bit better.  I don't know whatb else to do thankyoub soooo much I hope my scripts are ready tomarro or like you said alcohol will not help everyday thankyouj. Sooo much for that help but yea its pretty much cold turkey until they refill them

I am so sorry you are going through such a horrible time. I too was on
Xanax (a small dose, once a day) until 4 years ago when it no longer
worked and I was hospitalized and switched to Ativan 3 times a day.
I was left on that dosage and have continued to feel fear, jitters and
liteheadedness every single day.
Last Friday, I started the weaning off process. So I am in day 5.  I will
say it is the hardest thing I've ever had to do, but it is getting better, but
expect periods of withdrawal symptoms to break through.  I have been
jittery and scared all after noon. It plays with  your mind as well as your
body. It's so hard to tell yourself it will pass. I wouldn't think drinking
Canadian Mist will help for long. It too will pass and then you will either
need more or medication.  I don't know if you have quick "cold turkey"
or are on a slow weaning process.  Whichever I wish you luck, know that
you are not alone.  I can't believe all the people in our situation.  It's sad.
If we can help support each other, I think that will give us the strength
to get through this.  Each day does seem like an eternity as well as filled
with what's next going through my mind.  Hang in there, you are 3 days
closer to getting better than not having done anything at all.
