Ok. First off. Walgreens and walmart have those compression stockings. Symptoms of a DVT your case would generally include pain in the calf, leg, and foot redness, swelling, redness, and WARMTH. And judging by the extent of time...posdibly bruising or skin necrosis (black/deterioration)
It is common for us to not agree witb testing in medical facilities when they come out clear (trust me I am a nurse of 21 years, and struggle with it myself!)
I will tell you that you described a very visible vascular area, you are an excellent historian. If their ultrasound was clear, it was indead clear at the time.
I would advise seeking another test before traveling again now that you mentioned your foot. And I honestly think a soecialist should see you. Not sure if Urgent Care can do that. Otherwise, every 30 min,get up and walk the aisle, or get out of the car for a walk.
You are at a higher rish to change to a sedentary lifestyle, but baby aspirin can help. *as prescribed...not my direction i LIVE IN COMPRESSION SOCKS due to RLS and I worked in the OR for a year.
There are other conditions..but I'm not a DR. Vascular/nerve conduction studies should be done..
If your leg gets hot
STRAIGHT TO THE ER
Did you see the vein specialist your doctor told you to see and are you using the circulatory socks? No one here can diagnose you. even if there was a doctor here.
