Please help Lorazepam

I'm trying to get off, weaning slowly. Used my last half pill the Sept 28th. Ok yesterday. Heart racing all day today, took lorazepam. My question: Suggestions for getting off? Only been on it for month & half, didn't know about how addictive. Please help.

The best method to get off a benzodiazepine is to do a cross-tapering. You lower the lorazepam and slowly introduce diazepam (which is long acting) under the supervision of your doctor.
