Please help

My daughter is 15 and she has uncontroled body jerking along with tremors and rapid breathing, it seems to always be worse at night but here lately it is bad during the day.  we have tried numerous meds to no avail.  she has told me that she cant take being like this much longer..  she has very bad anxiety..what can we do.

Has she been tested for Epilepsy?  There are so many forms and I would think her doctor would want to look at this as an option as well.

Hi...go to the site below and read up on this condition.  Your daughter needs to be seen by a Neurologist if she hasn't already.  There are medications to control tremors and body jerks, but determining the cause is imperative.  I can understand her anxiety having to live like this, but I feel with a more in depth examination by a Neurologist will show what is happening and why and she can get treatment.  I feel so bad for her, but there has to be an answer for her condition, don't give up on this.  Let her doctor know what she is thinking about and see what can be done until you get the correct diagnosis.  Wishing you and your daughter all the best, nothing is worse than seeing our child suffer.
