I'm glad to hear you're feeling so much better...keep working on it.  With anxiety, we have to be careful not to let our guard down.  It's always great to share your story so others can see that it IS possible to get better.

Thank you for sharing your story.  It is so nice to hear a positive story.  Most people I think start to feel better and then go off the sites and no one hears the recovery aspect of it.

I am currently in a bout of anxiety after some stressfull events and not taking my medication propertly.  Ive been taking my meds with an increased dose for a while now and i'm so scared that I will never be myself again. I know i will because i've been through it before but this time i feel like its worse.

even if i have to switch medication its not going to take a ridiculous amout of time to figure something out rigth?  I have this vision of the entire 2013 going down the drain.. :-(

Thanks Ricky
I also at the start of my anxiety/panic attacks thought I had heart problems as there is history in my family.  I would get chest pains and my left arm would hurt... kept going to emergency room for ECG's which were of course normal.  So then I realised it is panic attacks and often gas as well as the gas moves around and can even sit in your chest.
I have tried SSRI's/anti depressants but the side effects all made me so nauseous or sleepy when I needed to get to work I was almost falling asleep driving (not cool)

I take alprazolam for anxiety attacks as its the only thing that quickly alleviates my symptoms without side effects but the doctors wont prescribe this as long term treatment due to the addictive properties.  I am now trying natural tranquilizers and they do help to some extent but not when full on panic attack so I am just taking them thru the day to try make sure I dont get to full on anxiety attack.  I do feel calmer but have this nasty feeling of something stuck in my throat..
