Anxiety and muscles

Can we suffer from muscle disorder due to too much in tension. I was suffering from irrational fear and tension since past two weeks without any symptoms and just two days back I have muscle movement trying to fall asleep and that wake me up. Shall I visit neurologist for this muscle or just go to psychiatrist for both irrational fear and muscle.

I too suffer with this, I get professional massages which seem to help with the twitching , could be that all the anxious energy builds up and is not released, try walking for half an hour before sleeping , even just around the house

I was speaking of a psychologist because you say you suffer from irrational fear.  I'm not sure what's going on with your muscles, you say movement but don't describe what you mean.  If you mean spasms, that could mean you're not stretching enough if you're exerting yourself, could have overdone something, not enough electrolytes or hydration, not enough magnesium -- could mean lots of things.

Neurologists don't do muscles, and if you've only had a problem for two weeks you're not at the psychiatrist point yet.  Your muscles might just need some stretching or some time but the mental stuff you might consider therapy for.
