Prozac causing drowsiness?

I was wondering if anyone has ever had the side effect of drowsiness while on Prozac. I take it in the beginning of the day, I am very sluggish. But that could be from other meds. Was wondering if I should take the Prozac at bedtime.  Any experience is welcomed.

What other meds?  Antidepressants have as one of the most common side effects sedation, especially ssris and tricyclics, so yes, it's very common.  If you've been taking these other meds for awhile and the Prozac is new and the sedation is new, it's probably the Prozac, but it could also be the Prozac in combination with something else you're taking that proved too much for you body.  If you just started taking the Prozac it could go away.  You can also try dividing the dose into two -- half in the morning, half in the evening -- to reduce sedation if the drug is working and you want to stay on it.
