Ativan?
I started taking Ativan .5 two or 3 times a day four days ago due to losing my job. I asked the Dr for something to calm me down. She gave me a qty of 30 1mg pills. Said don't take more than a milligram a day. Will I have a problem stopping these in a few more day?
Thanks.... I was hoping it wasn't going to be a problem. The Dr told me it's the durartion you on them - like months that causes problems. But, seem's there lots of opinions here.
You shouldn't have much if any problem with this if taking them for only a week or so in 1mg per day dose. when ready, cut your dose in half for a few days and then stop. Consult your doctor if you experience problems or your anxiety symptoms return.
yes. it definately has the potential for addiction/withdraw problems just as xanax and valium have. same class as those.
