Quick Question?

Is there a link between panic disorder / anxiety and hyperventilation syndrome? How to get them under control / personal experiences anyone?

Thank you and God Bless.

That does make sense, my anxiety has been so high ever since experiencing a huge Panic Attack two weeks ago in bed. I think the fear of having another one intensifies everything in my body on top of it I have asthma, so this shortness of breath, yawning feeling, and deep breathing just makes me even more exhausted throughout the day. I live in fear that I will die walking around because I am not getting enough air - it scares me even more.

Oh certainly, any high state of anxiety can cause hyperventilation if you don't pay attention to yourself when it occurs, and if it does, the feeling of not getting enough air (counter-intuitively) makes you breathe more hence, making you feel worse.

The root problem is the anxiety, or whatever triggers it - fix the root problem, then that in turn solves the problem of you going into a stress response and prevents the hyperventilation.
