Rough night

So, last night we went looking at Christmas lights with our kids. We stopped at Starbucks and I got what I thought was a decaf Gingersnap Latte. About half way through it, I started to feel sick to my stomack and really skay. I guess the sugar content is really high and maybe some caffeine in there too??? Anyway, was sick to my stomach and just felt weird all night. WhenI went to go to bed, when I closed my eyes, it was like everything was spinning in a circle, but when I opened them, I was okay. I was restless but eventually fell asleep. Right as I was dozing off, I saw a flash of electricity in my head with a small suction sound, really small. I was anxious about it but did sleep well and woke up jacked up. I cannot beleive a half of a small latte did this to me? I woke up jacked up and disoreinted this am and am scared now. I am really sensitive to caffeine and sugar but I usually drink a green tea every day and do eat sugar but not usually that much. I don't know, am I just running with this. My stomach really hurts today, naseaus, but I have been on antiobiotics for a few days for bronchitis. Urgh!!!

I do have odd reactoins to sugar but I never seem to go high, just low. When I eat really sugary stuff, I peak and drop pretty quickly. I had a C Peptid test which test my pancreas' reactionto sugar and it was fine. I also did eat a high card meal and then tested myself, it was in the low/mid 100's, not really high. I know I have some sort of hypoglicemia or something but am not sure how to control it

There is a glucose tolerance test. You consume something sugary and then they test your blood sugar levels 1 and 2 hours later. It may pick something up, I don't know. If you have a monitor, I guess you could do it yourself. It just seems you're having odd reactions to sugar.

I am just going to ask since I not know, have you been tested diabetes? Also, what about your thyroid? I am sure you probably have but I am curious.

So, I am stil feeling pretty crappy. Haven't felt really good since the other night after that Latte. But have been okay off and on. I have bronchitis and am no longer taking the antiobiotics, haven't since Sunday/Monday. I feel really naseaus and out of it still though. I am concerned. Can a head cold/bronchitis cause naseau? Should I be worried? Can it cause dizziness/off balance/gappy feelings. I am at the tail end of it, not that badly congested anymore, a little bit. Or was whatever happened the other night, after the Latte, what is wrong with me? Or am I making it a big deal? I feel better today than yesterday but this evening I feel crappy, like I might vomit at any minute.

My husband says I am very coherant so I cannot have a stroke too. But I feel like something happened. It seems like after a major panic attack, the next day I feel like I was hit by a truck, dizzy, gappy, naseaus, like I have been out drinking all night or something. Is that normal after a major panic attack, to feel this way. The tongue swelling thing happens a lot to me when I get excited or too anxious, not sure what that is about.

You are writing quite coherently so I doubt you had a stroke or an aneurysm. I think the antibiotic may not be agreeing with you. If you're tongue is swollen, maybe you are having an allergic reaction???
