Hi Hollie  I can understand what you are going through.  It seems to me like it is a vicious circle.  You are stressed out because of the symptoms you have...which are most likely anxiety..  I have had this for 7 months constantly.  I know it is anxiety but I can't beat the symptoms.  Please try to excercise and keep a positive outlook.  You aren't alone!  My neck hurts all the time, I have burning pressure and tingles in my head and behind my eyes and nose and I get light headed, sleep paralysis..okay you get what I mean!!  So much ****!!
Have you had your eyes checked?  I did and this reassured me that there is no tumor!!

You ARE stressing out!  There is not one thing you can say to convince me or anyone else on here that you are not.  You are only TRYING to convince yourself of that.  The blood test that the doctor ordered could have been for many things and even though there was only one box checked on the lab sheet that ONE test could cover a lot of ground.  Unless you yourself are a doctor, you probably do not know what all that jargon means.  When you went back and asked for the other things, he probably said no because he knew they were not necessary.  It would be nice if doctors did everything we asked just to ease our minds but they don't and that's just how it is.  For them to run tests, it cost money - lots of it!  If you don't have a justifiable reason for the testing, your insurance may not pay it.  You said your insurance stinks, well, do you have hundreds, maybe thousands of dollars to pay for these tests yourself?  At 19, I'm guessing you are on your parents insurance?  You need to trust in the professionals.  YOU ARE NOT DYING!  I know you are concerned, I feel your worry and I would not be on here if I did not suffer from the same feelings as you.  You are not alone in this and noone is out to get you or to think you are crazy.  It is in your head though.  Maybe your fiance coming to visit is adding to your anxiety which in turn is making you feel like you have symptoms of an illness.

Hollie,

Sorry you're still feeling so bad. Have you taken a painkiller?  does it work at all?

Let's play devil's avocate for a minute.  Just say it is a brain tumor.  Lots of them are benign, treatable and if not, catching them early is probably not going to change the outcome.  Worrying also won't change the outcome.  If you do have one then isn't it better to enjoy the time you have left.

I do not think for one minute you have a brain tumor or an anneurism but reassurance from doctors or any of us doesn't seem to be helping you much.

Give yourself a few days.  It won't change anything (if by some remote and I stress remote possibility you did have something seriously wrong).  Hand over the worry and obsessing for 3 days and then reassess.

You're so young.  The risks of health issues are so low.  In fact, brain tumors are one of the few things that are less age related which is probably why you are worrying about them.  You will get over this.

Try doing things for others and focus outside yourself.

Good luck.

"but my signs arnt anxiety cause im not pancing or nervous thaats why im worrying so much : [   "

Sweetie,  you just contradicted yourself in this statement.  You said your signs ARENT anxiety cause your NOT panicing or nervous.....  Hollie, you followed that up by saying this is why you are WORRYING so much - your subject title says you are "SOOO STRESSED OUT"!  Stress and worry IS the same thing as anxiety and that alone will result in biological symptoms!
You said your doctor ordered one blood test.  The doctor probably ordered a CBC which looks at a variety of different things.  If you have a brain tumor, this test will show highly elevated levels of white blood cells so this test will be a good indicator of that.  If  you are still alive and able to post on this board, you 100% do not have a burst anuersym!  You would be dead by now/in a coma, or paralyzed!
It sounds to me like you have serious tension headaches and possibly migraine headaches.  Tension headaches can cause neck pain too.  How do you sleep at night?  Do you have a good pillow that offers adequate neck support?  This is something that you may want to look into.
Did you tell your doctor that you are convinced you have a brain tumor/anuersym?  Print out some of your postings on this board and take them to the doctor - I GUAREENTEE  this will get the doctor moving in the right direction and you will soon start to feel relief as he will be able to start treating the underlying problem.

Hollie, please just try to relax.  I know that you are scared.  I know you are convinced that you have a brain tumor.  Trust me I thought I did too.  I suffered terrible head pain and pressure, neck pain, eye pain and about a whole list of other symptoms when my anxiety was at its worst.  My symptoms lasted roughly 6 weeks.  It was a very scary time in my life.  The best thing you can do for yourself is stop researching your symptoms online.  Check out this website... it is all you will need to reference.  www.anxietycentre.com (this is a great one has a ton of symptoms and explanations if you click on them).. there is even one that says "You are convinced you have a brain tumor" .. great reference website if you ask me.  Try to relax and keep telling yourself that you are ok.  When you find a normal doctor tell the doctor all that you have been feeling.  Maybe the doctor will put you on some medication.  I was put on Lexapro.  I love it and it has really made a difference in my life.  I wish you all the best and please stop obsessing about getting better quickly.. some of these things take time.  I am speaking from experience here.  You are not alone!!!!
