Severe withdrawal symptoms after forgetting to take Paxil for 2 days?

Last night I was driving and all of a sudden began feeling very strange. I was having trouble concentrating on the road, it would feel like the stop sign was way far in the distance then it would zoom closer. I was having tunnel vision, voices sounded far away, my mouth became very dry, my whole body felt numb and tingly. I thought I was dying. I have been on Paxil for several years and I believe I forgot to take it the last 2 days. Could this have been withdrawal symptoms so soon? Thank you.

All of these medications require a taper and all will have some type of effect if abruptly stopped.  The half life isn't that long so yes, 2 days can result in withdrawal.  Hope you were able to take the medication again to feel better.  And do your best not to forget.  When or if you decide to not take the med at all anymore, taper slowly.  good luck
