Sexual health anxiety

Am I correct in saying that reading endlessly on various std symptoms can make you think you have a certain disease. Does it also make you rethink your actions which is all signs of anxiety if you have experienced anxiety before in relation to other matters in your life

Yip - anxiety - there is no reasoning logically with it! It is incredible when it grips you, and I read, and look, and some say up to 6 months, then am I then few exceptions, the unlikely one to be exposed by a handjob, then contract it, the present atypically and continuously for 2 months, then have negative tests, and still then think there is this chance I am the exception. So yeah, at the moment, logical reasoning has taken charge again, may it last this time. I just want to empathize with your comment 'I can't help myself', and there lies the pathology. Thanks and good luck to you.

If tests say that you are negative, it is all psychological

I have a similar problem in last 3 months almost, regarding STD. Impossible to stop myself. Even negative test results ease me a while, then it all starts again. I can't offer advice, as I am seeking it myself, see: http://www.medhelp.org/posts/Herpes/HSV-2-Advice/show/2770917
