Side effects of Prozac

Hello
Last week I went to my first appointment with the psychiatrist and I was diagnosed with OCD , anxiety and depression , therefore I got a prescription to Prozac .
I started to take Prozac three days ago , I take a pill of 20 mg everyday . The pill makes me feel relaxed , but since I started taking it I feel like I have chills in my body , yesterday I had a terrible headache , and I have sleeping problems , I wake up in the middle of the night and find it difficult to sleep again , or that it's difficult for me to fall asleep in the first place. In addition I almost don't want to eat at all , and last night I felt my heart racing , but I am not sure if it was because of the Prozac , or because I was a little excited and nervous about something .
I know these things are some of the medicines side effects . But I would like to know from someone who has experienced it or understands the situation . Perhaps anybody knows  if the pain disappears after few weeks or days of using the pill , or if it means that I am in danger ?

Let me tell u that I've been on prozac for about 4 yrs and i have to admit the first few weeks were not easy. it definitely heightened my anxiety level. But please stick to it. It'll be so worth it once it takes full effect! Good look...

Thank you ,
I am new to the use of antidepressants  so I don't know much about how it works. I will give it more time :)

Truth be told, 3 days isn't really long enough to be on Prozac yet.  Remember that side effects begin long before effects do.

You are not in any danger.  And with anti depressants you usually feel worse before you feel better.  Usually there are side effects, which should diminish with time.  I found Prozac did not suit me at all, but it suits lots of other people.  My side effects were so bad I had to stop the 10mg dose within a few weeks.

We all react differently to drugs, what suits one person, may not suit another.  You have not been on Prozac long, so you may need to give it time to get into your body.  If you really think the side effects are too bad, then I suggest you go back to the doctor.
