Hi Rachhxo303, I am not a medical professional but it sounds to me like you might be hyperventilating (Over breathing) as a consequence of your anxiety. Check this link out and see if you find the information on Hyperventilation Symptoms useful.

it actually happens to me more when i'm out eating in public. if my mouth feels dry i instantly think i'm gonna choke and i can hardly eat. happens every now and then
I think what you are referring you to is globus, the feeling of having a lump or ball in your throat, I think it can feel like a tight throat also.
Not sure what causes it, I have had it occasionally, but if I remember rightly, it happens sometimes to me if I inhaled my food, you know or it could just be air from your stomach not escaping all the way, creating the feeling.
I'll try that! But yea sooo irritatingg!! how often does it happen to you.?
YES!!!! I know exactly how you feel. in fact it happened to me at work..what i do is i usually go get a drink of water or make myself burp...sounds nasty but it does help!
