Many thanks for your reply, I will definatly try what you suggest,
There are many different forms of meditation. Deepak Chopra, for example, comes from the TM tradition, but there are many. Self-hypnosis is another technique. Biofeedback is an aid that can help. Breathing even without meditation can help if you learn abdominal breathing, which comes from the yoga tradition. Lots of stuff out there to try.
Try slow breathing focus on the inflow and outflow of each breath visualize breathing in good breathing out the bad try to stay focused on your breath and when thoughts enter your mind just thank them and return to focusing on your breath. Some people use a mantra. One phrase or word to repeat.Deepak Chopra has a free meditation on right now. I am not sure if it is too late to register but he sells the cd too. Good stuff.
Have you tried Tapping? If you have access to a computer, go to YouTube and look for tapping techniques. It's a way to do acupressure and relieves anxiety. Good luck!
