VISION DISTURBANCES

Hi All,

This is the anxiety symptom that's least talked about, however, very disturbing...
When I experience sight disturbance due to my anxiety, it feels as if I stared at something way to long...my vision crosses I start to feel light-headed and dazzed. I also blink alot to correct it, which for me, makes it worst and I sometimes experience dry eye pain, as if I've been wearing contact lenses for days. Anyone else suffer from anxiety induced vision problems? If so, what other symptoms do you get to follow....? Thanks guys!

Hello, this is my first post and first time visiting this website.  I too have anxiety and i have had it for the last 10 yrs.
I also get the "vision anxiety" as i call it as well as the chest pains, sweats, etc.  It feels like if im looking threw glass cups. Kind of warped.  Sometimes i can only focus on one thing.
your not alone!

I do, mine gos off and on, and when it comes, it seems like my eyes hurt too from squinting, and trying to see better.
I also get that little Motor feeling in my body where it feels like theres a bunch of bees buzzing inside.
Neck aches, sometimes headaches, not many though, Derealization, and dispersonalization at times, tiredness, and recently gritting my teeth, Im trying to overcome that on, my jaw is starting to hurt, lol
alot of my symptoms happen in morning, and midday, I think its due to the higher level of Cortisol that is released in the human body during those hours.
Cortisol is the main chemical that causes the "fight or flight" feeling.
I get a few different symptoms, nothing surprises me anymore....
