It certainly can affect every aspect of your body and mind. I am not a professional, but a mother of 2.
When you stop trying so hard and thinking ..is today the day..trust me..it will work itself out. I know the more you want the harder it is to get..same for alot of women who want to get pregnant so badly. I have a friend who tried just about everything...2 years she started taking birth control again...against her husbands wishes..but she did it anyways. Well she stayed on them for about 1 year....then she stopped and guess what??? She got pregnant. It worked for her...so if you have tried other methods..and it hasn't worked then try this one. You just never know.
Wishing you the best of luck...I am sure you are going to be an awesome mommy one day! Keeping my fingers crossed for you.
In my opinion, yes. My husband and I got pregnant with my son on the first shot. (no pun intended). Now that he is 5, we have decided to start again. After a bust the first month I thought something was wrong with me. After the second month, I thought something was wrong with him! I have been dealing with Panic/Anxiety Disorder for 3 years. I currently take 25mg of Zoloft daily and occasionally Xanax as needed. (haven't taken it in almost a year). Now, I think I may be pregnant but I have to wait another week. The anxiety is creeping up but I am trying to be positive. My advice is as follows and it may have worked for me:
1) Have a glass of wine and relax. Heck, have two if need be. It will take that stress right off the top.
2) Even if you do everything by the book, there is a 1 in 4 chance that you will get pregnant. Don't worry if you don't right away. You aren't alone.
3) I purchased an Ovulation Kit at my local drug store. Every day you need to test your urine for the hormone produced when you are ovulating. I tried it after many of my friends suggested it to me. The one I used had a darker purple line when the hormone was detected. Pretty idiot proof. Only problem was my husband felt alot of pressure! (that is where the wine comes back into play!)
Bottom line, don't worry. It will happen. If after 6 months you still have issues, consult your OB-GYN. Good luck to you!!!!
