Hi Hon,
I just looked up Zispin in my 2008 Mosby's Nursing Drug Reference book and it's not listed. Is there another name it goes by?
It's also possible that this particular med hasn't made it across the pond yet. If you can give me some more info on it, I'd appreciate it and could possibly get you some answers. You could always call a chemist and ask them what they have to say about this drug. It may be very new on the market or a generic name for something we know by another name.
I had a terrible experience with Effexor and personally think it should be withdrawn from the market, but as with ANY med, some will swear it saved their lives and some of us will swear it almost made us end ours. We are all different in our tolerances.
There are still many doctors out there who don't believe in a state of anxiety/panic that isn't a by-product of depression. I will say that the two often DO go hand in hand, but not ALWAYS.
Sounds like you're seeing one of the non-believers and in MY humble opinion, it would behoove you to seek out another medical opinion. I think you might want to consider getting into some therapy as well. Meds can be a life saving bridge on the road to recovery, but you gotta figure out why your on that road in the first place!
I'd probably give this Zispin a try for a few days, maybe a week, but if you don't feel like it's helping, get yourself another doctor.
Keep us posted.

I find that to be pretty frustrating. So why not lay it on the table for your doc and express your profound misgivings. I know from your many posts that you're pretty savvy on this stuff, so act as though you were advising YOURSELF -and be as aggressive as yoiu need to be about getting answers.
And then ...
Share the answers with us, OK?
