Heart flutters or upper stomach fluttering?

Scares me to death as I think its my heart, but could it be my upper stomach?
I have had no tests, but I do occasionaly have to take anxiety meds.
Should I get my heart checked out?

I got horrible stomach fluttering a few months ago. It happened mostly when I was trying to go to bed. I would get that drop in my stomach like I was on a rollercoaster. I hated it...it used to keep me up at night. I started seeing a therapist and doing deep breathing and I rarely get that sensation anymore. I saw my doc about it tho and she ran some tests which all came back fine. Its better to be safe than sorry. It probly is anxiety but why not get some tests done so you're 100% sure.

Did it feel like heart palpitations

Why not? Anxiety can cause all kinds of problems. No use me saying 'don't worry' Rather like saying don't think of a Red Elephant? Good Luck

Always check with your doctor if you have concerns.  Your doctor will check you out and see if further tests are warranted.  You may not need many tests whatsoever, as it could be a range of things in my opinion.  Many peoples' hearts flutter and skip beats which can be very normal from person to person.  You also could have indigestion or a myriad of other 'simple' things that could explain it and put your mind at ease.  You said that you have anti-anxiety meds...are you in counseling for your anxiety?

yes, get ur heart checked out. Have an echo as well as a holter test. You will have to see a cardiologist--push for one--dont let the general doc diagnose this.
