I imagine the chest pain and Zoloft pain is purely circumstance and not cause and effect. You can call your pharmacist to verify that and get some help through this anxiety problem too. That is what I did and used a 24 hour pharmacy, because anxiety hits you with weird non-issues that appear to be issues at any time and I always wanted someone to talk to.
Thinking Zoloft makes heart pain is similar to this story. A guy took his kid for a vaccination but the lineup was too long so went home. The kid died of SIDS that afternoon before they got back for the vaccine. If he had managed to get the kid vaccinated that afternoon he would have thought the kid died from the vaccination.

That is classical anxiety thinking where you try analyzing the symptoms for clues to a disorder - anxiety does that to you. However, if you haven't had your heart checked out it is not possible for anyone to know for sure if you have a problem - I am in no position to diagnose or advise you on that subject.

Did you check some other posters subjects to notice how common "heart" problems are with anxiety sufferers? I, like others, went to ER because the fears kept building up in me but after passing the ECG I was able to forget it and the pains went away. Do you have access to a hospital call in #, which my city has, where a nurse will go over your situation and advise if you should come in for a review?
I am not trying to scare you but I can't make any medical advice about your heart. Sorry. Write back.

You get side effects in the early days but most go away with time. The chest pain is more likely to be a side effect of anxiety - if you look around this board at other posts, many people have chest pains from their anxiety. Anxiety causes you to over-analyze every twitch, ouch rash, breathing pattern, dizziness or blemish because you are new to anxiety and you are likely searching for clues as to why the ouches etc. occur.
You should call your pharmacist (I got my scripts filled at a 24 hour pharmacy so I would have access any time something worried me- always for nothing it turned out) or doc to get advice on side effects though. We can't diagnose you from here.
Zoloft will take weeks for you to get an effect because it slowly builds up in your system, if it works for you.
