anxiety and "highs" on zoloft

i have been taking zoloft for 3 months. when i was 5 months pregnant i began having terrible anxiety again (had it all through high school), so bad i couldnt drive anymore let alone take showers. after i had my daughter i couldnt leave the house, i was on a whole new level. so they gave me zoloft and the experience was terrible, i woke up and my body would have like waves of heat, i couldnt sit still, anxiety, grinding of the teeth, and weird vision but i think it was the dilated pupils, it was like i was on exstacy. so they told me bp patients tend to react to ssri's like that. i dont think im bp and the seroquel they put me on made me in a weird dream like state and a zombie. since the 3 months i have been on zoloft i have been great, few anxiety episodes and im driving again!! i was wondering if anyone has had that kind of reaction or experience. thanks

Are you still on the zoloft and seroquel along with the xanax or just xanax?

no they kept me on the zoloft when they tried the seroquel, it was supposed to balance out that "high" feeling i had. after the first week of zoloft i felt somewhat calmer inside, but my symtoms started coming back, but i think it wasnt fully in my system yet. i just take xanax as needed. but after a month and half i felt a big diffence. im new to this web site and its nice to know im not alone

I am currently back on zoloft. Almost 3 weeks and it hasn't really kicked in yet. How long did it take for zoloft to start working for you? Sometimes when you first start taking a med or go back on meds the side affects make your conditions worse instead of better but it tends to go away.

Seroquel is one of the most sedating antipsychotic out there so yes the most reported side-effect is ''weird dream like state and a zombie''.

About the Zoloft, yes indeed everyone can react differently to drugs, side effects vary from person to person. It's normal at first to have side-effects that might be overwhelming at first but those tend to disappear once the therapeutic lag is gone or after the first week.

There's is one thing I don't understand. You said you had a terrible reaction on Zoloft so they tried Seroquel and then put you back on Zoloft?
