anxiety and panic.

I have always been a worried person, but the past couple months have been suffering with panic attacks and finding things so hard. Feel like I am always lightheaded from morning to night. Struggle to go out anywhere or drive as worried what might happen. Spoken to a therapist but he is on hol now. It's putting a real strain on my relationship with my husband who is just fed up with it. I just want my life back. I also have 2 little boys that I am at home with so they suffer as I don't really take them anywhere. Just want some advice or to know I M not alone.

Thanks for ur replies. I know people have been suffering with  this a lot longer but just feel it's never ending.I not sure about meds but am open to most things so will be going back to docs. I do try and get out but it affects my driving now as well. But am going to keep trying. Just would like to feel good for one day.

You are definitely not alone. My best friend has a 2 yr old and she suffers from the same thing. I live by myself and I also find it a constant challenge to get out. What has helped me has been to make a list of one thin you can do a day that will put you in society. It doesn't have to be anything big and any attempt is better than no attempt. Taking your kids to the park, going on a short walk and smiling at one person. You might have to force yourself to do it, but the feeling of knowing you're working towards a new life is more rewarding than you can imagine

you are not alone, ive felt the same for a long time,i have 3 girls at home and i am the same,i hardly went anywhere with them,it was getting me down (because i felt so guilty) my partner was really good in the beginning dealing with it but then it came to a point where it was frustrating him.i am on meds and seeing a cbt which has been helping,im no where near to where i want to be though, its a very slow process.Hang in there with the counseling, and maybe have another word with your gp,theres lots of help out there, you are not on your own (even though we seem to think 'its only me that feels this way')
take care x
