anxiety/facial pain/vision disturbances

I'm not sure if this is the right section for this, but I'm not sure of much anymore. I posted a lengthy explanation of my symptoms under allergy, but who knows, maybe that was completely off base.

My symptoms:
-occasional facial pain
-dizziness/feeling out of it
-vision difficulties when things are acting up - blurred/popped out vision when I try to focus on some things
-racing heart and on/off anxiety

I had gone to 2 Ear/Nose/Thorat docs (first said stress, second said "don't know, have to live with it"). I've gone for a CT scan, tried prednisone twice (first time it helped, second time didn't), tried nasal sprays, decongestants, sinus infection meds and all nothing. Went for ENG, my ears are fine. Went to allergist, slight mold allergy but nothing extreme to cause all this. Got some relief from the anxiety/vision probs from Lorazepam, but as soon as try to read a book the facial pain some back. Now on deck for an MRI and to see a Neurologist but not soon enough. My doc has be on citalopram for a trail. I hate the idea of anti depressents. I felt wired and figity and sick to my stomach today (first day of taking it) and the vision other probs are still there.

Does this list of symptoms sound like ANYONE??? Do you have a cure? Is it actually anxiety? Are these meds just gonna mess me up more?

Please help. I feel way too young to deal with all of this (16 months now with only couple month break here and there). This is all making finishing my degree way too difficult :(

I haven't had any chest problems that I can think of, other than periods of a very strong and rapid heartbeat.
Did your doctor tell you to start celexa this week considering you have finals?? I am a bit surprised about that as the first week I started celexa was terrible.. I couldn't stay still at all, felt very shaky, sick to my stomach, and didn't really find any relief from the dizziness the first week. Hope you get through your finals ok! I certainly know the difficulty with studying through all this

Not sure why I didn't notice your reply before.

Was anxiety your complete problem? I really have doubts its mine, atleast not the only thing. Did your problems go away?

I'm sorry to hear of your symptoms, but I have had all of these and I suffer from anxiety and have for 25 years.  There's a lot out there, so keep searching til you find your answers, but I thought I was going crazy, especially with the facial pain.  I even went to the dentist to see if I had TMJ or something causing all the pain.  Believe it or not, face and head pain, (actually all over the body pain) is related to anxiety.  Not to say that something else couldn't be going on as well, but these are definite signs of stress/anxiety/tension.  Don't let it go for long, seek help...there's plenty out there!
