anxiety or real health problem

I hate hate hate this anxiety,

Will I ever know the difference between real illness and the anxiety? Anyone else here have health anxiety?

Heres my problem at the moment,

I have this little problem which is starting to freak me out since I looked up my symptoms on the net. My symptoms -
constant blocked nose, sometimes left nostril, sometimes right and sometimes both, but never any mucous, just dry and painful
I have very painful sinuses
Headache, especially around my eyes, I cant get rid of it even with painkillers, its not always there, mostly in the evenings
Neck and shoulder pain
Pain in the jaw, quite stiff jaw
Dry blood in the nose fairly often
I sometimes get the feeling that the ground is moving beneath me, can get very DIZZY!!

Could this be linked to my wisdom teeth growing? Allergies? ive been taking antihystamines which havent helped. I read that headaches and sinus pain could be something like sinus thrombosis which can be fatal!!! have I got this??

Believe it or not I have constant sinus pressure and occasional dizziness.  I do occasionally have discharge.  If you are taking an SSRI this can be a side effect.  My doctor wanted to change me from Celexa to see if it would help, but I declined.

I suffer from bad health anxiety lately...... but you sound like you have sinusitis , could be sinus infection but I have alot of your symptoms for years had a ct scan of my sinusis back years ago and all was fine I have bad allergies ....

I could say dont worry ...  but that would be calling the kettle black, umm I know how you probaly are very worried and freaked out... I google and had made myself physically sick from what I have read I manifest every symptom I read and feel sick with doon that I have it! so I truly understand, if your not afraid of dr's like I am then I would go.. it sure sounds like sinus allergy stuff to me! but I am no doctor.. I am scared to death to go!!! sure wish I werent but am.. I am trying to somehow conquer that fear! good luck to you .. all sounds fine  to me ;)

I think i would go see the Doc i am not going to say if that is anxiety or not anxiety i have anxiety i have never experience that...But maybe get a check up to make sure that its nothing serious...

Go to the doc.  You may have a sinus infection.  It could be chronic and not acute sinusitis if your  having any green or bloody discharge from your nose.  They can take sinus xrays or a cat scan (easier said than done of you don't have insurance) to check if the blockage is in your sinusus.  Do you have pain when you tap your face in those areas above and below eyes?  The jaw pain could be due to teeth clenching awake or during sleep.  Dry blood could be allergies or dried mucus membarnes so drink plenty of fluids or get saline nasal spray OTC at pharmacy.  Wouldn't worry about thrombosis at this point.  Take care- the rest sounds like typical axiety stuff--dizziness and tight muscles.  Don't worry but get it checked out.  GG
