This is very reassuring information. Thank you!
Yes tingling in the hands or arms is very very normal during an anxiety/panic attack. There is a huge list of possible symptoms one could experience during a panic attack. tingling, Tunnel vision, dizziness, fear of death, sweating, and shortness of breath are all at the top of that list. if you've been checked out then you have nothing to worry about. Panic attacks can't hurt you. They just feel like they will. Just know that it's something that is uncomfortable for a little while and that eventually it will pass and you'll be fine.
I almost never recommend someone Google symptoms, but in this case I would have you do a search at one of the following websites. Mayo or Cleveland Clinics, USC/Mental Health Dept, or the NIMH, (National Instute of Mental Health) Any of these sites will give you the most definitive list of anxiety/panic symptoms. The list is long.
I can reassure you that tingling, muscle tension and numbness are classic symptoms of these disorders.
I also understand the fear of our symptoms. ALL of us have many, many symptoms in common, but most of us have one, or more, that REALLY scares us.
If your anxiety just appeared this past June, it COULD BE situational anxiety. Meaning it could have been triggered by an event that happened around the time of your first anxiety attack. Anxiety most often presents itself when we have something inside us we aren't dealing with. I would suggest talking with a therapist to see if you can find the root cause of your sudden anxiety.
