Hi 13946.  I conur.  Grennlydia gave you very good advise.

You know, It is not uncommon to experience anxiety, depression or anxiety with depression or even depression with anxiety.  However, they are separate even though they can tend to piggy-back on one another as I see it sometimes.

Bring these feelings / symptoms to your doctors attention.  He or she most likely will be able to make a very simple adjustment in your depression medication if needed or may decide to add an adittional medication to address your anxiety issue or change the medication altogether.  I do not know for how long you have been on the antidepressant.  If it hasn't been very long, it could be that you may just need a little more time before the beneficial effects kick in all the way.

Good health and pleasant thoughts.

If you have anxiety to the point that it is keeping you from going out, then that should be treated along with your depression. There are meds out there that will do both, or an antianxiety med can be added. I suggest you talk with your doctor as soon as possible and get adequate treatment for both your problems.
Peace
