I went to a psychiatrist for 7 months and they put me on med after med, which made me worse.  I went to an Internist and he fixed me right up.  I feel so much better.

Go to a psychiatrist.  They know best how to treat you.  Your regular doctor is helpful, but may not know how what meds would be best for you.  I am diagnosed with anxiety and depression.  Many of your symptoms seem to be related to depression.  The sleeping the soreness...I know, have been there.  Just going on pills will not help.  You need to treat your whole person, that is why I suggest a psychiatrist.  This way you can talk.  I have found that talk therapy has helped me learn a lot about myself.  I am on paxil and buspar for the depression and axiety and I take klonopin when needed.  I wouldn't say I am 100% and my anxiety gets the best of me at times, but I am a zillion times better than before the help I received.  I had all the same  symptoms and I know how debilitating it can make you feel.

An Internal Medicine Doctor is a  primary care physician who specializes in adult internal medicine, specifically the diagnosis and nonsurgical treatment of diseases. Although, there is nothing wrong with a "clinic" style physician, but an internal medicine will be more thorough and usually spend quality time with you, get to know you, and develope a history of your medical past. A clinic usually rotates doctors and you usually get a different doctor each time and I do not like repeating my strange stories to them. The good thing about a good Internal Medicine that you can develope a relationship with so that if you have a problem all you have to do is say " I have still having such and such can you change my medicine or whatever" without going thru your whole story again. Also an internal medicine doctor has a list of other specialized physcians in which "he" thinks are very reliable instead of you gettting out the phone book and trying to find a specialist yourself. My Internal med doc will make the appointment for me if I need to see a specialist about something or if I need an MRI done or whatever. His office handles everything. So at any rate, this is my suggestion. My internal med , he does not farm me off to others, he makes referals that would be a specialist in case there is something that goes much deeper than what he thinks. It is good to do as much research on yourself and arm yourself with alot of info to give your doc so that he or she will not misdiagnose you. ANyway, that is my 2 cents worth. My internal med doc has the ability to dianose anything from a simple cold to something very serious - of which I hope he never finds.

Sounds to me like they need to change your meds.  I agree with DonnieD, you should see a good internist.  Make an appt. tomorrow!

yea i felt this way before i went to a doc.
then they hooked me up on tetracycline and it worked for a while maybe a couple weeks and now it seems to be getting worse
its not jus physical problems now its mental
i have weird dreams
restless sleeps
thoughts about stuff that i would usually never think about
its really weird
it feels like my life is a constant dream.
from the time i wake up to the time i sleep.
i get scared alot from the way i think now.
so thats were i thought it might be anxiety and depression

If you felt this way "before" you even went to the doctor, then I think I would get another opinion maybe from a reliable internal medicine doctor. I do know that medications can make you feel really strange "especially" if you are having an allergic reaction to them. If you are having these problems "after" the meds, then I would suspect that, but still I would see a good internal med doc.

You are not going insane.  If you're still on your meds you may need an adjustment.  Feeling woozy can give you anxiety.  My recommendation would be to go to your Dr. and tell him or her everything you're feeling and go from there.
