I was prescribed Ativan 0.5mg last March.I also take 100 mg of Zoloft daily.My question is -is it ok to take 0.5mg of Ativan daily,and not get addicted? Thanks!
Hi,
I have never taken Ativan but I have taken
Xanax in the past which is also in the same
family. I took it at pretty high doses up to
5 months once before when I was in the
middle of a medicine change and once
my meds got straightened out I was able
to come off of it without any withdrawal
problems whatsoever. Of course you
should check with you doctor. By the way,
I am on 100 of Zoloft also (along with
nuerontin and abilify) and doing really
well on it. I hope it works as well for you,
