thank you for all the help. my bp is better today, just numbers like 168/88 to high for me going in for a heart ecko thursday to make sure all is ok with heart.
everyone so far has been right. BP can go up duing an attack and I have also heard it going down. Remember that your BP can flucuate up to 30 points within minutes depending on what you are doing, temperature, emotions, etc.
Don't curl it much, I sometimes get readings like 175/110 when having an attack. But web I get a lil nervous it goes to around 140/90. I usually don't get redings like on the 160s I'm always on 120s over 70s
thank you for info always helps to talk to someone. its always been low so strange that its up now. just dont want have a heart attack from the numbers it is 168/86 pluse 60 now. just scared i guess
Yes, anxiety can raise your BP. Often when we go to the doctor our BP is slightly higher at first and often the doctor will re-take it to get a more accurate reading. Did your doctor address your BP? Moniter your BP for a week, write down the date, time and take it at different times of the day. Don't take it after you just ran up the steps after doing anything strenuous. If it is staying consistently high see your doctor. You're at an age when we tend to develop hypertension, so it's imperative that if it's consistently high to make sure your doctor addresses it. You don't want to let high blood pressure go untreated. Stay away from caffeine, and salt. Take care.
