Wow that makes sense! You're definitely right. But I do honestly think something is wrong. Reason being - when I took the coconut oil, it seemed as if the yeast moved into my body as obviously the constant consumption of the oil made it inhospitable for them. That is the ONLY time I got a foot infection and a little ballinitis (both seem to have been cured as I am on a diet - although not a very strict one). There is still a tiny streak of ballinitis however.
With regards to my anxiety, I was diagnosed and was on a course of cipralex. It helped while I was in it. So subsequently I have learnt how to deal with anxiety although it has taken me about 4 years and major downs/panic attacks/anxiety lows/depression. BUT, I think my panic attack caused some immune deficiency because it was a traumatic experience for me (never had a panic attack before). I think the safest thing is to just get tested for candidiases.
Thanks for your words! I shall definitely heed to them!
First, candida isn't a virus, it's a fungal infection. While coconut oil is being touted for everything right now, it isn't that potent an anti-fungal. There are stronger ones. Fungus on your toes isn't usually candida -- candida thrives in the intestinal tract, where if your beneficial organisms aren't home usually die to taking antibiotics but also to other reasons it finds a nice place to live. Fungus on your toes can be many types of fungus, but not usually candida. And candida can be diagnosed by a doctor, and you don't mention getting a diagnosis. For most people candida stays mild, and goes away if treated either naturally or with meds as long as your beneficial probiotics aren't chronically disrupted. It doesn't get systemic very often, though it can happen. This is harder to diagnose, but can be diagnosed if you're willing to go through the tests. Here's my take -- most of us get that first anxiety attack, and then expect to get more. Those of us like that become chronic anxiety sufferers, and need to get therapy for it quickly so that doesn't happen. Most of us don't, and in the US and most other countries today are more likely to go on medication instead, which can make us feel better but suppresses instead of cures the problem. I have no idea if you have things wrong with you or if you're anxiety is causing you to get more and more scared you have something wrong, but if you haven't seen a therapist who specializes in anxiety treatment that's where I'd head and if you really think you have runaway candida, you need to get a diagnosis and then formulate a plan to treat it by changing your diet, etc. But if you don't have it, treating it won't, obviously, help.
