same here I'd rather know I had something that wont get better than wonder for the rest of my life why I'm in pain so much.

My Dr say's lables dont matter but I just dont see why/how she can say that. I feel like I'm going to go crazy some day's between my hayfever, asthma, allergies, pain, and my mental illnesses that I just was not created to be apart of the real world.

You are so right about deserving a normal life. Today I've had nerve pains in my legs and even a little warm sensation too. I just want to walk into my GP's office and demand an MRI of my lower back. I want to know if some of my muscle tension and sensations are a form of sciatica. If so, then I could be at ease and move forward instead of just assuming I'm doing all the right stuff to loosen my muscles and so on. I hate wondering about this or that!

I have the same chronic muscle tension isuses as well. Mainly my shoulders which cause headache's/migrains. I cant figure out how to release the tension and keep it gone, it's driving me mad my mum and sister have the same problem.

I think the same thing is happening to my hip and back now.

My phycologist says it due to my anxiety etc but I just can fully comprehend how that could 100% right. Specially when it's happening even when I raise my arms above my head for too long or too often. Some people tell me that it's because I grew up with a mum with lots of symptoms. I dont think that the case either, as I tryed to ignore my symptoms for at least 20y and that did not work I even avoided pain killer for pain in case I really was pretending/copying because of my mum. That did not work.

So I'm taking a new aproch trying to rule out my symtoms now. If any can be reduced or solved compleatly then I want that. I'm feeling like I'm over welming my Dr sometimes but I deserve to have a more normal life if any of my symptoms are treatable.

Let me start by letting you know that I suffer from GAD. Diagnosed in Feb.
Well, I have tingling in my legs, sometimes one sometimes both. It could be anxiety related. In my case my muscles deep in my legs are so tight that they are pressing on the nerves causing uncomfortable sensations. I currently have this problem (had it since Feb). My legs have trigger points in them from chronic muscle tension from months of anxiety. I've been so wound up the last year, I didn't know I was tensing my muscles so tightly (which is common when you anxious or under stress!). It's become such a bad habit, that I'm doing Yoga and deep muscle message to try and get them undone. This is my experience with tingling and chronic muslce soreness. I've seen the doctor a few times, but they just tell me its the tight muscles and to keep up the Yoga! Very frustrating. Anyway if you have anymore concerns post them and we'll all try and help. WARNING don't go looking up symptoms on the internet- for your sanity! (if you suffer from anxiety, of course)

Anxiety can cause you breath funny which can cause lower oxygen which mean the body needs to keep the organ healthy first which leave arms and legs to last so its can be an anxiety thing.

Having said that it is alway good to talk to you Dr about it specially if it alot or its often. There are other things that can cause poor circulation which causes numbness and tigling.

My over the last year or 2 have started to fall compleatly asleep at night not the arm I was laying on the arm that should have good circulation. I would wake up to no being able to feel my hand and when I used my other hand to help wake it up my numb hand felt swallen as well till the circualtion had retuned fully for a while. I ignored for long time and I did not think about till just now actually but since being on med's for my tachycardia I have not had any trouble with any tingling/numbness so far in my sleep (touch wood). In fact I dont think I've had as much when I'm sitting I have short legs and dont really touch the ground fully and my feet would go sleep so easy.

Not that I'm saying it could be caused a serious problem my tachycardia is not concidered to be dangerous. Just that you may not have do live with the symptom if some thing is causing it and even if it is anxiety causing it learing to breath to cope with the anxiety should have a positive effect.

It is not uncommon. I have read loads of posts were people have those exact same things. I put it down to just another symptom of anxiety. Not something I ever had over the years. So never had to deal with it. Maybe a bit of exercise of the areas that are numb, even if you are just sitting down. Get the blood flowing through the body again. But I am sure you will hear back from loads of people who have two exact same things. Nearly get a post every other day about them. Even do a site search. Write in the two words and I bet you will find loads of old posts.
