I went through that with my pregnancy, I was told to stop xanax cold turkey (which we now know is dangerous) and the anxiety was awful. I was on zoloft but the anxiety was still very bad. It does get better! By my second trimester I was feeling a lot better. Therapy helped a LOT, I didn't use xanax again for over a year after my daughter was born. That was also when I quit using caffeine which helped a lot too, I realized it was causing some of my panic attacks. If you're worried about your meds and baby, talk to your OB about it. Some antidepressants take up to 4-6 weeks to take effect, so give it time to work. Feel free to write me if you wanna talk. Congrats on your pregnancy!
