headaches

I take pain meds for my headache that I have had for three weeks and they won't let up like at all. Is it from the anxiety and any suggestions?

A cat scan is a VERRRYYY detailed image of whats going on inside you. Escpecially if you have had all those other extensive tests accompanying it. I would not worry whatsoever about the sensations.

I have extreme panic attacks and anxiety, and have had them for over a decade. I can tell you that in the beginning, I was the same exact way as you. I was TERRIFIED beyond belief about EVERYTHING. And test after test and day after day nothing was going on, I was completely fine.

The doctors ran a good amount of tests on you and you are fine. You just have to now learn to control those intense panic attacks. They will reduce your headaches like you would not believe!

Also, what type of pain meds have you been taking and how long have you been taking them and when do you take them. (The pain meds can play a HUGE role in inducing panic attacks and also even mimicking them sometimes because of the strange feelings you can get from them).

I havent been to a neurologist yet because I don't at the second have insurance. I only even started have panic attacks three weeks ago. It starts in my head I get a weird sensation then my body numb and/or gets tingly vision blurs and my heart races or get heavy and tons of other symptoms. Went to the hospital four times the did a cat scan heart monitor x rayd lab work and said I'm healthy its all in my head.

As for headaches coming from anxiety: Yes, headaches can DEFINITELY come from high levels of anxiety.

Your anxiety creates a lot of undue stress on your body which, in turn, tends to create other symptoms such as headaches, stomach cramps, and other nuisances and symptoms. Anxiety can also cause extreme tension and many many headaches are whats called 'Tension Headaches' and they can be extremely long in duration, Days, weeks, months... So, I would say that 'Yes' it is very possible your headaches could be caused by your anxiety. Although, without further testing, studying, or more information on the matter I wouldn't be able to completely assume that your anxiety is the culprit.

I suffered from SEVER cluster headaches and was on pain medication for them as it was the ONLY thing that seemed to relieve them. The thing I learned through months and months of Neurology appointments and self-educating via online, is that there are MANY different types of headaches.

I would try to research the different types of headaches and then try to single down your particular situation to what type of headache it feels like. Then, alter different things about your anxieties, lifestyle, and diet to hopefully try to accommodate a way to fix the issues causing the relentless headaches.

Have you had any particular testing done or evaluations? And, have you had any other symptoms, or problematic things happen at all? (sleep schedule, lifestyle change, stress changes, etc?)
