is vertigo from Paxil

I have recently been weening myself off paxil and on to Wellbutrin. I have vertigo bad and its driving me nuts. What is causing this? and how can I make it stop?

I am living a life full of lies in IRAN since its men at office are liars, however, I can barely confirm now that the PAXIL (Paroxetine) companies are just as disgusting liars as iran's dictators and weapon producers and terrorists. You know!
n.b., I have seen many medical doctors in Iran (dentists specifically; psychiatrists, plastic surgeons) who are JUST preoccupied by money (dollars and euros) while they sell the poor patients GARBAGE, amongst them are psychiatrists with the most evil intentions
I'm sorry for myself to be living in this country as well as a world in which medicine productions in psychiatry are not useful but to make ppl suffer

and as you may be curious on my education and health status: I'm totally writing in a way described as sound and sober; healthy mind/body/and brain system is what I could possibly live, weren't paxil part of my long-term concern, as how to either taper the game on my own (without paying the high fee to visit a psychiatrist who would hate the idea to lose his money making ''customer''!), or afford the high price for each 20-pill pack.
I am 33 yr old woman a former PhD candidate in one of the Islamic republic!!! IRANian!!!! universities, since the heads were performing as evil intentions as you are. Cases like this include plagiarism as the least commitment to fool people.
so, when I say the disgusting story of PAXIL "addiction" caused by a bunch of thieves getting their nasty hands in my pocket, I am telling you a TRUE story bolstered by thought & evidence. May the psychiatrists around the world are guided towards humanity and wisdom and repent on their low life misery (to bulge up bank accounts by ppl's "addictio"'). AMEN

The boat has docked for the most part. My doctor has stopped the wellbutrin and returned my to a lower dosage of Paxil. It seems I was having ALL the side effects of the well butrin. I was very hostile and aggresive. It was not a good time. I could have beaten anyone in the UFC last week. LOL It was that bad. Thanks for everyones input

I am sorry that you are having trouble with switching meds right now.  I assume your doctor did this for a reason and is helping guide you during this.  Finding the right med can be a little tricky and in my experience whenever I started, stopped, switched, or adjusted the dosage of a med like this, side effects will definitely increase in my opinion.  Have you brought this up with your doctor?  I have always found that the more you talk with your health care provider and/or therapist, it makes things much easier...keep us posted!

First thing I wonder about is........are you doing this weaning/transition process under the supervision of your doctor? I hope your answer is yes.

Both the paroxetine (Paxil) and the busPIRone (BuSpar/Wellbutrin) have as side effects dizziness. Since you are currently taking both these meds, I'm not surprised you're feeling some vertigo. I don't know of any way to make it stop until you have the Paxil out of your system and the BuSpar has had time to accumulate to a therapeutic level, which can take about two weeks.

If this side effect continues or is interferring with your ability to function safely, then it's time to talk to your doctor!
