Hey+i+see+what+u+mean.but+with+me+its+totally+different.i+avoid+going+places+for+fear+that+someone+who+may+want+to+fight+me+is+there.i+nearly+cannot+speak+up+4+myself+either.someone+literally+have+to+hit+me+to+make+me+agressive+on+most+days
Hello again....I would say that the fear of confrontation is not a mental illness. It is actually very common. When we think we are going to be reprimanded for something or confronted about something our adrenaline and other chemicals start to kick in and we are in that "fight" for "flight" mode. This is a very common thing for people even without OCD. It may be that instead of having just normal anxiety over the situation, yours may be a bit more intense because of the OCD.
